In A Bizarre Thyme, Billy Oakley explores the subconscious through narrative imagery, people and place. Though imagery of naive, childish, spooky dreams and silly fears rest at the bottom of the subconscious, in this exhibition they are brought to the surface in order to be seen in their curious, cute, seriousness and the sulky playground dissatisfaction of living, life, and the things in it.
