Mardi 23-190
This painting is of Mardi (Crayfish), a totem for the people of the Warramirri clan. Tommy shows us a crayfish , looking for food. The rrark (cross- hatching) shows us saltwater where the crayfish lives, in amongst the coral and rocks.
The circles/dots show us the markings that can be seen on crayfish. Mardi is a Yirritja animal and story.
This back is unmounted. A custom fitted bark wall mount can be included for an additional cost (allow 2-3 weeks for fabrication).
