Dialogue: The surface

Brunswick Street Gallery’s Dialogue exhibition series pairs the practices of two artists, creating a space where their works complement one another and amplify the impact of the exhibition as a whole. United by the inspiration each artist draws from the Australian landscape, particularly its distinctive flora, Anna Walsh’s self-described harmonious blend of traditional techniques and contemporary aesthetics enters into dialogue with Vivienne Adeney’s strong focus on woodblock prints and richly textured paintings in The Surface.
