EDITIONS

BSG Editions is Brunswick Street Gallery’s dedicated printmaking studio. We collaborate with contemporary artists to develop and produce limited-edition prints that combine technical mastery with creative experimentation.

Working across intaglio, relief, and screen printing, our studio guides artists through every stage of the process, helping transform their ideas into stunning, collectable editions. While many artists are invited to work within our Brunswick-based studio, we also facilitate print workshops in remote Indigenous communities, fostering meaningful creative exchange and ensuring each print reflects the artist’s voice, story, and connection to Country.

BSG Editions brings Brunswick Street Gallery’s curatorial mission to life: supporting artists, expanding creative boundaries, and presenting prints that resonate with collectors and audiences nationally and internationally.

VISITING ARTISTS FROM NGUKURR COMMUNITY

In early 2025, BSG Editions invited Jill Daniels and Karen Rogers to collaborate with our printmakers on a series of fun and playful etchings and linocut prints. Over an intensive week, the artists worked closely with our highly skilled team to produce multiple print matrices across both techniques. Fuelled by cups of tea and biscuits, the collaboration resulted in an exciting body of work that expands each artist’s practice, opening new ways of translating their painting into print.

Karen Rogers explored simplified, floating, and strongly narrative-led forms, reinterpreting her signature Troopie stories. The series is further distinguished by her use of highly fluorescent colours, marking a new direction in her practice.

Jill Daniels, known for her playful Cowboy and Cowgirl series, reimagined her ideas into simplified forms suited to multi-plate etchings and linocuts. The physical process of cutting linoleum represented a significant shift in mark-making for an artist celebrated for large, multi-layered acrylic paintings.

Both artists work out of Ngukurr Arts in the Ngukurr Community, Northern Territory. Jill Daniels is currently represented by Brunswick Street Gallery.
