David Davies
13–28 July

David’s artworks and poetry are developed from his love of European classical and mediaeval architecture. He is fascinated by ancient stories of people whose tales are as old as they are new. The images and words were made in tandem, which is David’s normal artistic practice to realise particular subject matter. The artworks and poetry in this exhibition aim to bring a narrative of contemporary themes using a mediaeval aesthetic as their source. David’s  poetry encompasses themes such as blood ties, birth, death, love, hatred, vanity lost, vanity found and so much more shared human emotion wrapped up in our continuous artistic interpretation of history.
