In Expressions of a Garden, artist Carsten Segerlund Frederiksen uses a lyrical expressionist style, characterised by strong colour shifts, mark-making and overdrawing, to create flow, movement and musical rhythms.
These elements consolidate natural forms that emerge as poetic expressions of the garden rather than literal snapshots of the natural environment.
