Remembered Places
Clive Douglas
24 January–8 February
Clive Douglas’s landscapes honour the tradition of artists who interpret the Australian bush through light, colour, and texture. Each painting captures a fleeting moment, translating the subtle beauty of the landscape into emotive and expansive scenes. A master of capturing light, Douglas imbues every work with the sense of passing time and shifting atmosphere.
A natural colourist with a background in interior design and architecture, Douglas studied oil painting under Maxwell Wilks at the Victorian Artists Society. His work has been exhibited at Manyung Gallery, Elgin Gallery, Without Pier Gallery, and Noels Gallery.
Join us on Saturday 24 January from 6–8 PM to celebrate the opening of Remembered Places.
