Connection is a collection of works inspired by the artist’s observation of coastal and natural environments. A journey along the coast from wild, rugged ocean cliffs to quiet bayside beaches, the works explore moments spent observing the everyday magic of the sea and our relationship with it. A deliberate suggestion of solitude invites viewers to reflect on their personal connections to coastal landscapes.

Liz Fitzgerald is a contemporary artist based on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. Her artistic journey is one of reflection and exploration, inspired by the landscape and the beauty of everyday life. Liz's artworks are typified by loose gestural brushwork, suggestion and simplicity; she aims to represent her subject as if caught in a fleeting moment in time.
