22 october–8 November 2026

Afterworld, 2026 Oil on canvas, 40x30cm

Understory showcases paintings inspired by plants, animals, and the wilderness, exploring the natural world in an effort to express its edge-dwelling, peripheral, overlooked, and often unnoticed aspects. Influenced by botany, ecology, and time spent in remote landscapes,Understory invites viewers into an encounter with wildness.

Please join us to celebrate the opening of Understory on Friday 23 October (6–8PM).
