Tussie-mussie describes a hastily constructed posy of blooms and herbs, presented by an admirer to convey a secret, often risqué message. Notions of tussie-mussie expresses the intimate nature of blooms in a whimsical yet pared-back, minimalist aesthetic. A considered use of colour in combinations further emphasises artistic restraint.
