Reflection explores moments in nature where Earth, water, life, and light interact to create something that exceeds any single element. The title’s double meaning represents the literal reflections that recur throughout the work – and the abstract, thoughtful kind of reflection that the images are intended to provoke. 

Each photograph is a real moment recorded in nature. Upon deeper observation, viewers are rewarded with a wealth of detail. Each piece is part of a continuous visual narrative, transitioning through colour, texture, and subject around the room to encompass the beauty and variety of the natural world. 

This selection of Ryan’s work aims to inspire a richer connection between people and the natural world. Ryan encourages viewers to seek these moments for themselves.
