In Wide Open Wonder, Melbourne artist Michelle Harvey explores the dreamy vastness and quiet drama of the natural world through glowing, atmospheric landscapes. Her work is an imaginative response to skies and open spaces where light shifts, clouds billow, and there’s space to exhale, time to daydream — a place where the sublime is waiting, inviting you to pause and notice.

Working primarily in acrylic on canvas, Harvey builds each painting through delicate glazes and transparent layers, creating softness, depth, and a sense of movement. Her process is intuitive, guided by a romantic and theatrical approach to colour and atmosphere.
