Winter Light

Winter Light is a group exhibition that invites the viewer to reflect on the change of season and the beauty of the cooler months.

As we enter the cooler months here in Naarm (Melbourne), on Wurundjeri Land, the shorter days bring a warm, directional light that quickly fades into the blue of night. In the words of Maggie Nelson, “I aimed to be a student not of longing but of light.”

Inspired by this sentiment, Brunswick Street Gallery presents the group exhibition Winter Light.
