DELIVERY OF WORK

Artwork drop offs: Saturday 14 June 10AM–5PM and Sunday 15 June, 11AM–4PM.

COLLECTION OF WORK

Artwork collections: Saturday 5 July 10AM–5PM and Sunday 6 July, 11AM–4PM.

Eligible artworks must measure 50cm (height) x 50cm (width) or smaller. Maximum depth for non-flat artworks is 15cm. These dimensions are in totality and include all framing apparatus.

Un-conventional materials accepted, such as wall based ceramics, weavings, ready-made constructions, as long as they are wall mounted and fit within the size limits for the prize.

The ONLY exception to the 50cm size limit is a 20 INCH industry standard pre-stretched canvas (measuring at 50.8cm) which must be presented UNFRAMED.

All submitted artworks must be wall displayed, including ceramic, woven, and ready made artworks. 

Artworks must have been made within the past five years.

The Fifty Squared Art Prize 2025 is open to artists living in Australia and internationally.

Artists at any experience level, from emerging to established, can enter.

Artists must be over 16 years of age.

$55 per artwork entered.

Maximum 10 artworks per entrant.

All entered artworks displayed from the 21 June–4 July 2025.

Artworks will be assessed by one or more of the following criteria:

• Evidence of exceptional technical skill.
• Aesthetically outstanding.
• Clear, concise concept.
• Innovative approach to your chosen medium.

The decision of the judges is final.

GUEST JUDGE: TO BE ANNOUNCED

All artworks entered can be made available for sale. Artists have the opportunity to set a sale price in the entry form.

30% (inclusive of GST) commission applies to all artwork sales. Artists should take this into account when pricing artworks.
