In Expressions of a Garden, the artist Carsten Segerlund Frederiksen uses a lyrical expressionist style with strong colour shifts, mark making and overdrawing to create flow, movement, musical rhythms, and to consolidate natural forms which emerge as poetic expressions of the garden rather than literal snapshots of the natural environment.
