'My mother is an artist and her design is the old Tiwi design. I was taught by Doreene, my mother in law, and now I paint in the modern Tiwi way. My mum was really good painter, she won that award in 1995, her name is Aileen Henry Kumarjino.

This is the first time I have painted like this. I wanted to add my mothers design into my artwork. This design is called Daughter to Mother.'
