This series of prints were created in response to different beach locations along the Victorian coastline. Each print is made from impressions and marks from each site, which were recorded on

copper plates. The works reflect my own experiences and connection to the landscape; with the use of layering and colour to express the atmosphere and texture observed. Beaches, for me, are unique meeting points where surface, ecosystem and atmosphere intersect and are shaped by one another. Each location offers a unique experience - moments of stillness, movement and transformation - which I aim to reflect and explore through process and material.
