GAPIRRI (STINGRAY HIDING IN THE ROCK)

'This print depicts two gapirri (sting ray) in the water. They are hiding by burying themselves in the sand. The gapirri have white and black flecks on their skin so they look like the sand and broken coral. This story is important to me as the gapirri is my totem.' – Dhalmula #2 Burarrwaŋa
