Featuring the vibrant work of Ika Jumali alongside the dreamlike scenes of Isaac Hood, our The Surreal edition explores the fantastical through two distinct artistic approaches.

The first evidence of quiet exchanges in the Big Wild - whispered stories from magic Mountain Friends commemorated via portraits in vivid hyper-colour. Ika Jumali paints these figures with an intuitive approach to colour and line, an expressive emotionalism that always focuses on a feeling. She aims to capture a sense of high energy and optimism with a considered approach to layering colour and texture.
