"The people sit around the yard cheering and some people walking around and some people buying hotdogs and drinks. There are trucks and cars parked in that parking area. The cowboy is bucking with that Brahman bull. The cowboy mob are running around and watching that man."

Jill Daniels is an artist based in Ngukurr, South East Arnhem Land, known for her vibrant depictions of life in the remote community.

Her paintings tell stories of cowboys and cowgirls travelling across vast, colourful landscapes; the people they meet, the animals they see, and the twinkling stars they sleep beneath.
