"The cowboy is riding a bull. The stockman running around the yard. There are trucks parking beside the road. People are walking around the yard and some people are buying some food to eat and drink."

Jill Daniels is an artist based in Ngukurr, South East Arnhem Land, known for her vibrant depictions of life in the remote community.

Her paintings tell stories of cowboys and cowgirls travelling across vast, colourful landscapes; the people they meet, the animals they see, and the twinkling stars they sleep beneath.
