As told by the artist:

"I started working a the Yirrkala Print Space when I was 17 years old, in 2013, doing work experience when I was at school with Annie, learning from her how make the prints and mix the colours.

I have worked with other printmakers. When Annie left, I was expecting my first child, so I took a break, then came back and continued making the prints for other artists. I made my first print in 2013 and have been making them ever since. When I started learning lino printing, beginning with one colour, then Bitharr came and we started making more layers on the lino prints. We help each other and manage the Print Space."
