About the artist:
Naomi Douglas is a promising emerging artist, painting daily at Tjala Arts studio. Born in Pipalyatjara, Naomi is daughter to Ronnie and Maureen Douglas, who moved to Amata together as a young family. Naomi grew up in Amata watching her grandmother - renowned Senior artist Kunmanara (Wawiriya) Burton - paint, and now paints alongside her mother, sisters and aunties with the Burton Women's Collaborative in honour of her memory.
