Jessie Rose Ford

Jessie Rose Ford is a contemporary oil painter and botanical artist based in Melbourne/Naarm, VIC.

Her oil paintings, often created en plein air, distill moments of awe in the landscape through gesture and mark-making. Alongside this practice, Jessie continues her detailed botanical drawings and watercolours to capture the intricacies of plant life, which she has received the Celia Rosser Medal and a Highly Commended Award from the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne. Across both her oil and botanical work Jessie celebrates her connection with the natural world.
