The Quiet Hours
Group Exhibition
26 march–12 april 2026

The Quiet Hours brings together a group of artists capturing the fleeting moments that frame the day, from the first light of dawn to the fading glow of dusk and into the depth of night. In these works, light softens into shadow, colours deepen, and familiar places settle into a quiet stillness. The shift between day and night becomes both subject and atmosphere, revealing a world gently transitioning into its nocturnal state.

Unified by a sensitivity to light, mood, and restraint, the artworks offer a sense of calm that extends beyond the gallery space. Each work holds a quiet presence, inviting slower looking and repeated engagement, revealing new nuances over time. Poised between stillness and change, The Quiet Hours presents paintings that resonate with a timeless quality, bringing depth, atmosphere, and a contemplative rhythm to the spaces they inhabit.

The Quiet Hours features new works by Amy Wright, Chloe Caday, Edwina Edwards, Edan Azzopardi, James Riches, Jessie Rose Ford, Joshua de Gruchy, Hannah van der Wal, Hilary Green, and Mickey Mason.
