Marnie Ross is a Sydney based abstract painter. Her practice explores organic forms and shifting shadow patterns within the natural environment, reducing landscapes into minimal compositions that emphasise colour relationships and tonal variations.
Marnie has been a finalist in numerous art prizes including the Paddington Art Prize and the Ravenswood Australian Women’s Art Prize and has exhibited extensively in solo and group shows both locally and nationally. She is also the founder and curator of the Little Things Art Prize, established in 2015.
