Man Dancing In An Emu Mask And One Blue Stocking
Brendan Parkes
27 March–13 April
Brendan's art is the result of a conversation between the canvas that he paints on and his own consciousness. His ideas are free to be taken in a different direction by the paint marks produced on the work, as the journey of the process of making the artwork takes place.
Through this he hopes to infuse the painting with genuine meaning, be it conscious or unconscious.
The viewer is free to take their own understanding from the painting or if they feel compelled to decipher the artist's meaning, they may do so, and of course any combination of the two, as guided by their own consciousness.
Please join us for a drink to celebrate the opening of Man Dancing In An Emu Mask And One Blue Stocking on Friday 28 March (6–8PM)
