In Nothing is too Beautiful to be True, Freda Davies’ works are primarily concerned with the pursuit of beauty. Often misconstrued as a vain endeavour, its power and importance in our lives is far more fundamental.

Not intrinsically bound to the perfect or pretty, beauty speaks of a deeper, more human drive for understanding and meaning. In this exhibition Davies proposes that, Synonymous with God, true Beauty is an elusive yet essential life force that is present in everyone’s lives.
