Eleanor James' Shadow Garden presents a shadow play, a magic lantern show. Harking back to pre-cinematic entertainment, to tales told by firelight throughout history, Shadow Garden is inspired by themes of transformation, fate and the supernatural contained within folklore. It playfully expresses a dreamlike internal landscape through shadow and light.
