This small series presents a selection of works created in the past two years. At the heart of this selection lies the idea of creating an “oasis” both physically and spiritually, through the tranquil act of seeking balance and duality in the imbalanced world. Drawing inspiration from the aesthetic concept around “Wabi Sabi” ( imperfect or incomplete natural beauty), the works embrace the beauty found in imperfection, asymmetry and the fleeting moments of daily life. With each work presented in dual format, the collection hopes to foster the philosophy of seeking balance, inviting viewers to pause and appreciate the understated elegance and serenity that emerges from simplicity, naturalness and very often imperfection and incompleteness.
