Katia’s most recent works from the last 12 months include Transient Elsewhere from Everlasting Horizons series – experimental site-specific installations of large paintings on transparent textiles and Afterglow series of small prints and paintings that take viewers on a journey through a sensory experience of being present in a moment of wonder within a pastel sunset, surrounded by the soft glow of the horizon.

In 2025 Katia has been working extensively on developing her expanded painting Everlasting Horizons series as well as experimenting with mediums, scale and colour palettes to capture transient moments of the afterglow effect - a fleeting moment just after the sunset and before twilight – through the seasons over the last 12 months.
