This year Sarah endeavoured to stay afloat by painting pictures that pay the bills. However she felt a need to break out of an abstract floral rut to try out new ideas. The Thought Morsel paintings represent a break from the florals and an attempt to capture something deeper within her. Each morsel exists in an effort to record a thought or snippet of the artist’s dream,  thought or might be a mental clipping taken out of the mind to make space for a new one.
