Wayne Biḏingal is a Ritharrŋu man. His skin name is Burlany. He was born at Gapuwiyak and he grew up there. He used to watch his fathers and uncles painting there, in the rarrk style. He learnt painting from them. Wayne lives in Ngukurr now. When he isn’t painting at Ngukurr Arts, he works at the Ngukurr Language Centre keeping his language Ritharrŋu and Wägilak strong.
