‘Banks on Boyd’ comprises works inspired by the artist’s collection of Martin Boyd ramekins. Banks’ response to these pots is a departure point from which she deconstructs and reimagines new compositions. She reinterprets colour, space and scale in relation to contemporary art practice. The show represents a new direction in her artistic endeavour.
